I just wanted to thank you for your kindness and help.

My dad who is 72 bought himself and his wife a kit each a couple of years back and he says it is the best thing he has ever done.  He stops and tells anyone who will listen that buying the bike has changed his life.  He already had a bike but found it such a struggle to do anything other than ride around the streets so he didn’t really bother. He heard about electric bikes and went on a mission to find the best. He settled on Cyclotricity.  He started off cycling a short distance and then using his throttle to keep him going whilst he had a little rest.  Soon his fitness improved and now he goes out for miles and uses the throttle less but loves having the freedom to take on long distances.

After that, my brother got a kit and I found myself curious so went over and had a try of my dads bike.   How thrilling to go off over the hills!  So that was me hooked too and last week I ordered my kit!   At about this time we realised the possibilities of getting a kit for our son who has disabilities. He has a mental illness and is unable to use any public transport.  I take him everywhere he needs to in my car but often he will just sit at home.  We spoke to our sons medical team and they think that an electric bike would give our son the freedom to go out to places like the library or even visit a friend.  They thoroughly recommend the idea and believe it could be something that gives life back to people who have fallen into the trap of staying in, doing no fitness and feeling tired.

So now we have ordered another kit for our son!  I look forward to getting him (and me!) feeling a bit more energetic.  There are some fab cycle tracks near us and we are already planning our routes, taking in the tea shop of course!

I can’t thank you enough for all your help and advice Raj. How lovely to be able to ring up and talk with a company who cares so much.  Maybe when the weather is a little warmer I will be able to send you a photo of five members of our family on our bikes… or maybe more once they all see the fun we are having!

Best wishes

Shirley

Hi Zak,

I while ago I contacted you about buying an eKit for my bike and trying to work out the spec needed for attempting the coast2coast cycle ride (146 miles from the west coast of England to the east)

I’m pleased to say that I eventually took the plunge for a lowly 9Ah / 250W front hub kit that was supplied by Townsend Nursaries in Harpenden.

The kit was fantastic and even on our longest day of  ~ 46 miles or so which included a 5 mile climb up the Hartside path I still had 25% of my battery left at the end of the day!  Granted I’d only used it sparingly on the tougher climbs but as we neared the end of the day I used it on full assist for the last 5 miles to fly past some “keaner / purer” cyclists who made the assent much more slowly!

Once again – thanks for the kit – it’s been great!  I just wish I had a second bike to play with the 1000W version!

Cheers,
Paul.

Hi Zak

Just wanted to say a BIG THANK-YOU to you and your colleague for installing and servicing my bike.

I love it.

My daily ride is 13 miles and I have just completed 130 miles on the first three full conditioning charges,

So Thanks again.

Proud to buy British

Just received my stealth today,it came in a large box,all I had to do was straighten the handle bars and put the pedals on. I charged up the battery, took it for a spin, well what can I say I was laughing out loud, it was amazing. I haven’t even de-restricted it yet. If anyone is considering buying one, just get one! You won’t regret it!

I’m a very very happy customer, the best decision I made this year.

Many thanks to you all at cyclotricity. Proud to buy British.

Hi Cyclotricity

Hi Cyclotricity, with Special thanks to Zak and to Peter in tech support, both answered many questions I had with great patience and knowledge of their product.

Zak arranged very quick delivery of a 250W Stealth to my home address, the bike arrived on the correct day and all we had to do was fit the peddles and handlebars and saddle, tighten up a couple of bits, charge the battery and we were off! Went to Aldbury Village Fete on Bank Holiday Monday near Tring in Hertfordshire and the Stealth did not miss a beat, went up Tring Hill with no bother just a little peddle assist. The bike had a lot of interest shown in it by several people and because it is a nice modern looking mountain bike style it was appealing to all ages and I let a couple of people have a go on it, both were very impressed. So thank you Zak and Peter for making my day out and many days out in the fute so enjoyable!

1000w eKit delivery to USA

Hello,

I wanted to thank you.  The free wheel was installed for me as I had requested, thanks again.  The package arrived on Friday April 18th and was in good condition. Shipping was much faster then I had expected.  I installed the motor on Sunday and yesterday I took it out for a ride.  I was very happy with the speed and how quite the motor is. It was easy to install and the waterproof quick connects are great.   I will be buying a second motor kit from you in May.  I have a new bike that I will be building and will keep the old bike for a backup.

Stealth 250w 9Ah

Hi Zak

I’ve now nearly done 500 miles on the bike. I absolutely love the bike, it is by far the best commute option and I think I have now tried all of them (including motorbike). I get to work in under an hour, which is how long the train takes, and I’m not a sweaty mess like I used to be on my regular bike. All in all this was an excellent purchase.

Hullo Zac , I have now completed 100 miles on the Sahara and have enjoyed the experience . Due to the gear and brake cables being new , they they stretched as I expected and having readjusted them , all is well . I have been asked many questions from people who love the way the bike looks !! So I do try to answer all their queries and your address and website ! So from an 84 year old cyclist , many thanks for a new lease of life on the road !!! Pedalling Pete

Stealth and Sahara bikes

Hello Zak,

Just to let you know how we really love our bikes! They arrived mid morning on Wednesday and no problems.

Over the weekend we cycled 36 miles including a few low grade hills plus a couple of steep ones. At the end I still had 4 lights and Stu had 3 and we hadn’t charged the battery in between trips, so we’re well happy.

For my dodgy back it was the best and took the stress out of going a long way as I could gauge the battery consumption and I knew I’d get home. Can’t wait to take them on holiday but won’t be trying them on the Eiger!

Thank you for your help and good service Zak.

Wishing you a sunny week.

Kind regards

Liz and Stuart Knight
