The rear drive motors are compatible with 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 speed freewheels (not compatible with cassette sprockets, i.e. if your bike is fitted with a cassette, you can purchase a freewheel together with your kit for it to fit). If you have a single speed bike, you can install a 3 speed freewheel for compatibility (and use only one of the 3 speeds). This will give more options for a better chainline.
